I'm something of a canon!whore, with exceptions. Those exceptions being Neville/Luna and Scorpius/Lily, the former having been pwned by canon (Neville/Hannah and Rolf/Luna, neither of which bother me necessarily; I have no problem reading fanfic with either pairing) and the latter having neither been confirmed nor denied as canon.

Are you active in any other fandoms? A few. I consider myself "active" in a fandom if I read and/or write fic and/or download (right click + save) and/or make graphics (mostly icons) in that fandom. The ones I'm most active (by my definition) in are: Bleach, faves: Inoue Orihime, Ichigo/Orihime (OTP!), Renji/Rukia, and Shuuhei/Rangiku; Doctor Who (the whole Whoniverse actually), faves: Rose Tyler, Captain Jack Harkness, Gwen Cooper, Sarah Jane Smith, Maria Jackson, Doctor/Rose (OTP!), Jack/Gwen, Jack/Ianto and Luke/Maria; Skins, faves: Cassie Ainsworth, Sid Jenkins, Maxxie Oliver, Emily Fitch, Pandora Moon, Freddie Mclair, JJ Jones; Sid/Cassie (OTP!), Tony/Michelle, Chris/Jal, Cook/Pandora, Naomi/Emily, JJ/Emily friendship, Freddie/Effy, and Thomas/Pandora (Everybody sleeps around on Skins).


Anything else you'd like to say? I'm not opposed to being friends with people who dislike my favorite characters and/or ships. In general, it's hard to find one person who likes exactly the same as another (I may love both Harry/Ginny and Ichigo/Orihime, but you might love Ichigo/Orihime and loathe Harry/Ginny). It'd be lovely if all my friends liked what I like, but it can't always happen that way, so I'm not bothered when it doesn't. I will say that, if you happen to bash my faves, be respectful and put me on a filter that doesn't include the bashing (intellectual discussion about likes/dislikes =/= bashing).

In the same(ish) vein, you may notice that I don't have many slash or femme slash ships listed up there in my faves. It's true that I'm not a big fan, but I don't have a problem with others enjoying slash and femme slash; both are just as valid as het (which means het is just as valid as slash and femme slash, btw).

In terms of activity here on dw, I'm not that active yet. But, as the yet implies, I plan to be (well, as active as I am on ij: brimac13 and lj: brimac13...).
